The Conservancy's goal is protection of special natural areas of the Couchiching-Severn region for future generations. The Couchiching Conservancy is a non-profit, non-government Land Trust organization, registered in 1993 and affiliated with the Federation of Ontario Naturalists and the Ontario Land Trust Alliance.

By becoming a member, you take a direct role in protecting the natural heritage of our community. Your membership fees and donations make the Conservancy’s work possible. There are several advantages to membership:

You may make a donation of any specified amount, or even regular monthly donations. Memberships and donations may be made by cheque or Visa. Tax receipts are issued for the full amount of all memberships and donations. Memberships are renewed annually. The Couchiching Conservancy is an incorporated, federally registered charity - Charitable Registration No. 13972 5030 RR0001.

That means we can provide you the best tax treatment for your donation, and assure you that your lands will be safeguarded forever.

By remembering us in your annual giving or your will, you help us build a solid financial base for the future. That allows us to focus on what we do best - protecting the special natural features of this region.

As a volunteer, you can play a hands-on role in a wide range of Conservancy projects - visiting properties as part of a team, building community support, and educating others about conserving nature.
